It’s back, celebrASIA is returning to Battersea Power Station from the 11th – 13th September 2026 for a three-day celebration of South East Asian performances, street food, artisans and more – and this year, it’s even bigger.
Discover the stories, cultures and creative voices of South East Asia at the celebrASIA Film Festival 2026. Journey through Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand as filmmakers explore universal themes of family, identity, food, community, resilience and belonging. Whether through laughter, tears, nostalgia or inspiration, each film provides a unique window into life across South East Asia and the stories that connect us all.
Join us for a celebration of cinema that transcends borders and brings people together through the power of storytelling. All films will be shown in their original language with English subtitles. Booking in advance is strongly recommended.

What to expect in 2026?
A bigger and better celebrASIA stage, with a new performance space in Malaysia Square. You’ll find dancers, musicians, DJs, walkabout performers and more – from community groups to international artists. We’ll have even more street food and bars, with some of the UK’s best South East Asian talent cooking up a wide range of dishes and snacks. The Artisan Market and Workshops return to the Turbine Halls with more stalls and classes on offer. 2026 will also see the return of the ‘Grand Tour of South East Asia’, which will feature Timor-Leste for the first time.
Our film schedule is expanding to offer more screenings across the week, and adding a ‘celebrASIA Talks’ space where you can get the low down on topics relating to the region and its culture from influential guests and authors. The massage zone, face painters and AI photo booth all return, and there’ll be a whole host of new photo moments across the whole of the neighborhood.
And of course there will be entertainment from crafts to games to immerse the whole family in the culture and traditions of South East Asia. With new food and other bookable experiences to be announced, you’ll want to be the first to know when sessions go on sale in the coming months.
