On behalf of the Battersea Power Station shareholders, Battersea Power Station Development Company is delighted to announce that the long awaited restoration work to the Grade II* listed Power Station will commence in October 2013 – marking the 30 year anniversary of the power being turned off at Battersea Power Station. The restoration of the Power Station building and chimneys is expected to complete in 2016.

Battersea Power Station is the principal hub for this year’s Chelsea Fringe Festival. The alternative gardening festival runs for three weeks from Saturday, May 18th to Sunday June 9th. Around 20 projects encompassing sculpture, interactive artwork, performances and poetry, food and drink stalls, a surreal tea party and a mass human ‘planting’ will find their place in Battersea Power Station’s Pop-Up Park. This is the first time in 30 years that the grounds of the iconic Grade II* listed building will be accessible to the public.

75% of Phase One properties in Battersea Power Station are reserved in the first week. Battersea Power Station Development Company (“BPSDC”) is delighted to confirm that approximately 600 of the apartments and townhouses within Phase One – known as Circus West – have already been reserved since sales commenced in London on the 9th of January, 2013.
